Zoya Dickinson

Zoya Dickinson draws inspiration from the flora and fauna in the natural world around her. Armed with extensive knowledge and wide ranging set of jewellery making skills, Zoya creates a wearable nature inspired pieces often set with diamonds and other precious stones. Her cohesive collection demonstrates a range of traditional jewellery making techniques such as wax carving the delicate details on leaves or seeds and masterfully cultivating the 'cut and pierce' method to replicate the fine skeletal details in a butterfly's wing.

Zoya completed the Contemporary Jewellery Course at Bristol’s School of Art and has over 17 years’ experience in the jewellery industry, including working here in the workshop on the prestigious Fairtrade Gold and Platinum collections for Diana Porter. Her interests also expand to lapidary where she experiments with cutting stones she has found herself to expose the beauty inside.

"I like to do the majority of work myself. I pride myself in learning as many different techniques as I can, chain making, enamelling, piercing and stone setting. I love using traditional techniques in my work but enjoy making pieces from wax carving for more sculptural pieces. I enjoy the challenges of working with unique stones and setting them to create a one of piece of art."
