The daughter of two archaeologists, Electra spent her childhood visiting artefacts from the ancient world. From the garden with a metal detector she built a little museum of her own in the drawers of a dresser in her grandparents' house, collecting broken pots, old coins, butterfly wings and other curiosities.
Today Electra's jewellery is influenced by the culture and countryside belonging to both her Greek and British heritage. Her work draws reference from both her own memories and those passed down to her of rural life, practising methods that have existed in traditional craft for thousands of years.
