Anke Hennig

Anke creates handmade jewellery from her studio based in Dresden, Germany. Her jewellery is crafted using with a traditional textile technique known as häkelgalon. A 19th-century braiding technique where flat braids of fine threads made up of colored nylon, cotton, silk and other filaments, are wound around and over themselves to form a spiral, providing an unusual three-dimensional aesthetic characterised by the delicate elegance of the braids combined with decorative volume.
