For this special anniversary piece, we have chosen the word BRISTOL the city where the Sibyl story began. Diana loved Bristol deeply its creativity, its independent spirit, and the energy that runs through its streets. She had always wanted to create a Sibyl engraved with Bristol, and we wanted to honour that wish.
Affectionately known as the Bristol Necklace, it has become a symbol of the Bristolian spirit. Bristol has always been a place that celebrates individuality, creativity, and community. Those same values have shaped Sibyl from the very beginning. It feels only fitting that one of our most personal pieces should carry the name of the city that inspired it all.

The photographs throughout this piece show Bristolians wearing their Sibyls across the city a reminder that these necklaces are not just objects, but part of people's everyday stories and connections to Bristol.
We spoke with Millie who told us what her Sibyl means to her ‘ I purchased the necklace to celebrate my 30th Birthday, me, my mum and sister each picked a word, I don’t ever take it off, it’s nice when you see other people wearing them, I always wonder what words they picked - it’s a lovely club to be part of’,
Bristol may be the most literal word we have ever engraved on a Sibyl, yet it represents far more than a place name. It is a shorthand for friendships, new beginnings, university years, family, creativity, and belonging. It is the city that shaped us, inspired us, and gave Sibyl its home.
